About Somerce
Somerce is a leading TikTok Shop agency helping brands grow through live shopping, content creation, and social commerce. We’re also building and launching new technology to power the future of influencer marketing and live shopping.

We work with some of the UK’s most exciting brands and creators, and we’re now looking for a Marketing Director to lead Somerce’s own marketing – driving inbound leads, tech sign-ups, and building our position as a true industry authority.

The Role
This is a hands-on and strategic leadership role. You’ll be the driving force behind marketing Somerce (and our tech platform), building a team around you while directly executing campaigns in the early stages. You’ll manage all touchpoints of our brand presence – from content to events, partnerships to PR – and work closely with the senior leadership team to achieve ambitious growth goals.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the strategy and execution for all internal marketing across Somerce and our tech products
  • Drive inbound leads for our agency services and sign-ups to our tech platform
  • Create campaigns that build industry authority in influencer marketing and live shopping
  • Develop and oversee multi-channel marketing across LinkedIn, TikTok, PR, events, SEO, email, and paid ads
  • Lead on partnership marketing with TikTok, affiliate networks, and industry groups
  • Represent Somerce at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
  • Launch and host/produce the Somerce podcast to build brand awareness
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create high-value thought leadership content
  • Manage and mentor a growing team, including a Content Creator and Marketing Assistant


Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years in marketing, ideally within influencer marketing, social commerce, or ecommerce
  • Proven track record in brand building, inbound lead generation, and multi-channel campaigns
  • Comfortable being a public face of the agency (events, podcasts, video content)
  • Hybrid skillset: creative brand builder + data-driven marketer
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to scale processes while keeping a startup agility
  • Confident in managing external partners, PR agencies, and media opportunities
